  • Pray for our family to have endurance and perseverance to pour ourselves out for the sake of Christ among our people. That we would be diligent in our own spiritual growth and in prayer for the ministry the Lord has given us.

  • M has been rejected residency in our country and given a permanent entry ban. We have a court case open to appeal the rejection. Pray for wisdom and trust as we live through these days of uncertainty. Pray the Lord would comfort our hearts and give us joy in the midst of trail.

  • Pray for our children as they live in a city where no one their age speaks their language. Pray for them to grow spiritually and to live a life in front of others that would bring glory to Christ. Pray for them to have friends who love and accept them for who they are.

  • Pray that we would be intentional in carving out time to spend together as a family and as a couple. Pray for wisdom as we parent 3 pre-teen/teenagers in an isolated place. Pray for peace in our home, in our marriage and in our relationships.

  • Pray for balance of time and priorities as M has been asked to give vision, strategy and leadership for another large region of Central Asian work. Pray for wisdom and direction in ministry decisions and diligence in ministry and school endeavors.

When the Lord called our family to international missions we never doubted that it was a calling for our entire family.  We committed then, to go wherever the Lord called us.  We love the place to which he has called our family but it is sometimes difficult for our family to live in such an isolated place with few options for schooling, friends, and activities. Our children are growing up in a place where there is not a single other child who speaks their language or shares their beliefs or worldview.  It obviously adds unique challenges for each of us as we navigate parenting, relationships and budding teenagers. We are incredibly thankful for the opportunities the Lord has provided for us.
